A New Leg in the Journey
So---PTL it's out. Gone, goodbye trach. Thank you all for prayers. We just returned home today and I think I'm still absorbing it all. There is much to tell, but I dont' have time right now. i will leave you with this picture....
PRAISE THE LORD!!! I am so happy to hear this great news! Thanks for updating, I've been thinking of you and checking on you all day! WOOHOO! What an exciting day!
Hey there, we are willing to take any supplies you don't need. His trach is a 3.5 bovina. They used that instead of the shiley because it has an extension so it sticks out from under his fat neck. He will use oxygen tubing with it also. Other than that I don't know what he'll come home with, we start our trach teaching tomorrow, wahoo.
